On March 27th and 28th, Jaime Greenfield bowled in the Wisconsin State USBC Women’s Bowling Association 2010 Championship Tournament which took place in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The tournament runs from February 28th through May 2nd. It is known as the largest women’s bowling tournament in the nation, with over 9,000 women participating. Ages range from 18 years old to 85 years old and averages range from 98 to 220. It is a lot of fun. Jaime went to the tournament with her mom, Kathy, and some friends from La Crosse. Jaime bowled nine games in two days consisting of singles, doubles, and team events. Her average is a 186. In the doubles event she bowled 148, 258, and a 205 for a 611 series. For singles she bowled 192, 209, and a 182 for a 583 series. For the final event, the team event, she bowled a 191, 194, and a 227 for a 612 series. Because the tournament is so large, results will not be known until the end of May. Karl and Kirsten came to root Jaime and Kathy on for some of the games. It was nice to have a cheering crowd. Overall, it was just a lot of good fun.

I just wanted to update the blog. I finally received mail stating what place I came in at state bowling. I came in 219th place out of over 9,000 women! I also won $87.00 for that placement. I am very happy about it and hope to do even better next year. Thank you for all of your support.
